It's a highway and there's a whole unused line for cars to stop. Traffic is going surprisingly slow and drivers can easily see you. Got a ride to Montenegro direction in less than 10 minutes.Technically hitchhiking on the highway is illegal, but come on, who cares about rules in Serbia?
That's why I love Balkans where you don't get 150 euros fine for doing something innocent and nobody will ever snitch on you.

Was going Montenegro direction.This place is not popular at all. Too small traffic and most of it goes to Cacak. Didnt get any ride for two hours, after that I went to hitchhike to the highway and got a ride very quickly

Got a ride from a trucker here in 10minutes. He drove me directly to the main train station in Belgrade.The road is single lane in each direction and it is very easy for cars to pullover.

We wanted to go to Cacak. Not a lot of people drive are going there from this spot. We waited for 1h30 in the afternoon and again 30 minutes in the next morning after sleeping on the top of a hill nearby. No space to stop on the entrance of the highway.―Gab

Got a ride into the centre of Čačak from the village I was being hosted in, a bit past the bus stop.This spot or a bit further down near the NIS petrol station at the road split was recommended as a good place to hitch to Kraljevo/Kragujevac.
