Lots of space to stop for cars and they see you well. Got a ride to Novi Sad immediately.―Anonymous

Worst place you can find for hitchhiking. We waited here for more than a day in the summer. Every car is rather full of families returning from vacation or refugees with car from switzerland. We had a cardboard saying Hrvatska, then we switched to Croatia, then we just asked people, but nobody wanted to take us or they had full car. After day on this gas station it seems like spawn for refugees with expensive cars. Stay in Belgrad instead, it's a nice city―Agamaj

Hitchhiked here many times, always works great. Just be aware if policemen are standing there, if they are in a bad mood, they could threat you with a fine and kick you out from the pay-tolls.―Anonymous

Used this spot to hitchhike into Belgrade since my driver was going to Novi Sad (had come from Sabac) and previously Sarajevo. The driver had no English but set me up on a date with his daughter who did [Blog Post](http://www.hobospirit.com/hitchhiking-from-sarajevo-to-belgrade-an-epic-journey/)―HoboSpirit

Hitchhiked here with my girlfriend to Zagreb. Before that, we were forced by police go away from the perfect hh spot near Belgrade to a nearby petrol station with almost no traffic. After 1 hour of waiting, we accepted a ride to the Sremska Mitrovica pay-tolls. Almost everyone was going in direction to Bekgrade, and those few going to our direction didn't want to pick us up. So after 2 hours, we decided to hitchhike back to the Belgrade pay-tolls, from where policed moved away meanwhile, so we found a ride to the croatian border immediately.―Anonymous

On E70/M1, just after exit to Mitrovica. Good for rides west to Croatian border. Underpass nice for shelter from sun or rain, plenty of room for drivers to stop.―Anonymous

Good place to hitchhike to Zagreb. Use big sign ''ZG''.I came here from Novi Sad by bus. It cost 3 euros, just tell driver to stop at toll station (naplatna rampa). You can also hitchhike to this place from Novi Sad.
When you get here, walk on flyover (bridge) and look on right side you will see where wire fence is starting there is space to pass. Go down the hill and there stand next to highway fence. I don't know if this is legal but it works. If you are afraid of police better go on toll station 100m from here.

not too much cars but people stop often to give you a ride if you need to go towards Sremska Mitrovica or Indjija―Anonymous

This spot is appropriate for hitchhiking towards Šabac and Valjevo (south) and towards Ruma or Novi Sad (north), especially if you are coming form Sremska Mitrovica. If you are heading south you should stand on parking spot near the local bar and if you are planing to go north you can stand near the bus stop across the road.―Anonymous
