Logically, on ramp to the highway should be a good spot to hh from Vladicin Han, but I didn't have luck to get a ride and after almost 2 hours took a bus to Vranje.―Anonymous

To go towards Surdulica and Vlasina lake, start hh as soon as you get out of Vladicin Han. There is no spot with lots of space for cars to stop, but just try to find any. No need to walk further out of the town as there are villages next to each other along the road for ~10km.―Anonymous

If you wanna go to Vlasina lake and east from Surdulica, there is a nice shade in front of military barrack. From town center just follow the signs. There are lots of local rides, try to get any just to get out as far as possible. There are villages along the road for at least next 5km.―Anonymous

Tried to hitchhike north-bound to Niš or at least Leskovac, there were loads of cars and trucks having a rest but nobody wanted to take us.―Anonymous

Do not go there. The gas station is not workkng anymore. There is just a little shop. We got here in the night so we had to hitchhike on the highway because no car stopped here. We got lucky and got a ride to Belgrade with some truck driver.―Untroubled_travelgirls
