got here Sat. night at 21:00 and tried for an hour, but since it was night (after getting a lot of cake from a car full of grannies) we went to the adjacent field (no need to climb, the gate is open) near that stream and pitched the tent there. In the morning it only took 15min to find sb. to LJ. I asked a guy there that turned out to be a cop :) he was confused came back and asked for my ID, funny situation.

Tried to hitchhike but got arrested by the police instead. Although I was subject to a fine of 150 EUR (it is prohibited to walk by the highways in Slovenia), they were nice enough to take me to the Hungarian border.

This ia good spot to hitchhike to Maribor. Stand on pavement just before small path to the church, so cars can stop there.

Good gas station towards to hitchhike from/to. Last one in the direction Ljubljana before people turn of to Graz or into Maribor. Opposite site great for getting to the Slov/hung. border or to Hungary. Slovenians are great to hitchhike with.

Great spot towards Murska Sobota. There's a little car park in front of Mercator, hitchhike there, there are many trees, so you'll be in shadow, that makes this place suitable foer hitch-hiking even in hottest days.

Not a big petrol station, just a few cars, mostly locals. We were lucky, after half an hour we found a driver who took us to the Hungarian-Slovenian border.
