Excellent Spot. A good place for cars to pullover and you will only be catching traffic heading to either Ljubljana or Maribor. I would say that it works for both directions, but best for Maribor, as Ljub. traffic is in the left lane. Use a sign. 20 yo male and female and we got picked up in like 20 mins.―Anonymous

Two days, one mission! Hitchhike to Ljubljana. The first night I failed missarebly, it was dark and cold.The next day I returned with a thought that I have to beat this city. I was sucsesfull in 10 min.
It is the best place to hitchhike to Lj or Mb. the bus station is riht infront of the higway entrance.

VERY GOOD ; late july, after 3 days in the rain, the weather was getting better, and a local beauty stopped after 5 minutes, took me to Ljubljana, straight to the hostel door ! Nice welcome !―Anonymous

It is great spot but still we were waiting here for 4 hours! We wanted to go to Graz or Vienna. There were a lot of Austrian, Czech and Slovak cars but many of them were full. And these of them which had free seats totally ignored us (especially Austrian). After 4 hours we caught young woman from Ljubljana, who took us to Vienna. Maybe it is better to ask the drivers instead of waiting.―Ada.pernik

Petrol station "Tepanje" is very good for catching rides to the north of Slovenia. Also lots of trucks here for international travelers.―Chaba
