About here there is a petrol station, not shown properly on the map. Summer 2012 it was just South of road works which conveniently slowed traffic down. Standing between the station entry ramp and the road (not a motorway at this point) you could get a lift South quite easily. Without the road works it should still be a decent place for going South. I got a lift here from Maribor from a friend.

Was standing there with a sign "Zagreb" on Monday afternoon, there were a lot of cars, but vast majority of them were with Maribor car plates, and probably almost noone going towards Croatia. I gave up after 1 hour

There's no much cars stopping here on a November's Sunday. It took us 2 hours to get a ride to Zagreb.

There is a lot of traffic coming through, and a lot of cars from Germany. Great opportunity to catch a long ride. I had one of my best hitchhiking experiences from here, with someone travelling to Netherlands. The border guards also don't seem to care. With patience you will get a ride. There are also toilets. Peace and love enjoy the ride!

Stand closer to the crossroad, so drivers can see you, because the road goes down a bit. Otherwise good spot. I started waiting from 7:30 am, so it was fine amount of time as for me
