Dead spot on the way to Ljubljana. I waited for over 90 minutes. Next time, I would take a bus to Maribor Titova-Nasypna (4€). Don't waste your time like I did―slowianin

The spot is not bad, there are definitely cars heading to Celje or Ljubljana, but not much traffic to Zagreb. The traffic is too fast to stop, but the cars often stop at the red light. We (a guy and a girl) stood with two signs Zagreb and Ptuj. We got taken to Ptuj and the driver said that he was going elsewhere, but he changed his way to take us to Ptuj.―dundee

Not much traffic (I'd say about 15 cars per hour), cars had mostly local plates or were full for the holidays. We were trying to get a ride to Zagreb, but after an hour of trying we accepted an offer from a trucker going to Varaždin.―dundee

Got stuck here a whole sunday plus a good hour on monday morning before I get a ride to Zagreb airport. Little traffic, mostly local, all cars with croatians plates were either packed or not caring at all.If you come from Maribor, better to stick to the traffic light in Hoče.

We had to wait long maybe because it was evening. Then we got lucky and got a lift beyond Belgrade.―Prochy

A lot of trucks there. I slept there in a tent and in the morning a truck driver took me to Zagreb.―Anonymous

Got stuck for like 7 hours, very uncommon for us... It was Monday, all the cars going only to Ptuj (not very helpful) and the rest were families with fully loaded cars going for holiday...―Bfl

Was standing there with a sign "Zagreb" on Monday afternoon, there were a lot of cars, but vast majority of them were with Maribor car plates, and probably almost noone going towards Croatia. I gave up after 1 hour―Hlib

Stand closer to the crossroad, so drivers can see you, because the road goes down a bit. Otherwise good spot. I started waiting from 7:30 am, so it was fine amount of time as for me―flannellad
