I haven't really hitchhiked from here, just passed it on my way to the petrol station down the road. If you go to Granada, I'd say this spot is way better than the roundabout. There's plenty of space to pull over, and the cars are still kinda slowed down from the roundabout.―jkczech

I tried for 15 minutes here, but decided to walk couple more km, to the gas station at the national road going to Granada.Sign "Granada"

I got a ride while walking to this spot. Had a sign saying Granada. While it was quite empty petrol station, I think this is the nest way of going from Córdoba to Granada. If you are okay with getting several shorter rides. I found it easier than going on the highway where the people tend to stop for you less.―jkczech

I stood in between the next entrance and exit on the roundabout than this point is. I got several interactions. Sign "Granada". But quickly I decided to walk more down the road, to the petrol station.―jkczech

The previous ride dropped me off at the Repsol station where I had lunch. Great middle point between Málaga and Córdoba. I then walked here to this roudabout exit to catch all possible rides, though it is probably better to just ask people around at the station/restaurant. Two mexican guys who were charging their Tesla at the charger saw me and eventually picked me up at the roundabout.―jkczech

Got picked up by a nice taxi driver returning to Ocaña after 4 minutes. Far better spot than in the city. Worth the bus ride.―SaintJ

This place you can use if you want to go north (Madrid, Andújar). Its not a good place to stand, so you better search a bit for another one, and only use this if you dont find anything else. Posted the 13th January 2009―Anonymous

When Im with other person, one is standing here while the other asks at the BP petrol station a bit further (read the comments I wrote there). Good luck!To get here on foot it takes about 30 minutes from the center (a bit more with backpacks). You can take the bus number 6 and get as close as possible to this point (you can show the driver on a map). A gozar

This petrol station is not that good, although it works for short rides. If you go to Sevilla from here, you will find petrol stations on the way where you could be droped. If you go to Málaga from here, the first petrol station is within more than 100 km, after Antequera (this is because is a new highway―Anonymous

Córdoba-Granada. Get the bus number 6 from the center in direction to Barrio Guadalquivir and step out of the bus at the stop Carretera de Granada. Continue by foot for 100m. (Be aware that you are in the poorest suburb of Córdoba, show self-confidence). Then walk over the highway. There you can already show your cardboard. Continue straight for 300 m until the fuel station to your right. There you can start asking people. This national road involves a huge risk of getting stack in the middle at any of the crowded villages. Make sure that you get a direct ride to Granada, otherwise a very long one, or wait for the next. This road is mostly use by people of Baena, Alcalá, or other villages in the way to Granada. Good luck! January 2008―Anonymous

It is really good spot with a lot of space and it's no far from the city but the most of the car are going to the villages on the way to Granada. But it is not a highway so you can accept shorter rides and than hitchike another car. For me it worked very well and I arrived to Granada after few hours,―Ludmil

We were offered a lift to Seville in 5 minutes by someone who was being picked up from here, but we were heading to Malaga so we waited about an hour before someone took us to a petrol station near Lucena.―Truffula

during two hours of waiting and asking people all I found was two rides to malaga. Lots of local traffic.―Momsen
