Very low traffic. Tried in horrible weather at both gas stations and then succeeded at the restaurant with a sign. Not the worst spot.―SaintJ

Waiting for more than one hour, finally get a lift to a petrol station just next to the town.―Anonymous

we spent 17 hours on that gasstation, but let's count 12, because slept some time too. but with the restaurant you have nice coffee, toilet and food, and there are some roofs for the parking cars too, if it happens to sleep there. so not a bad spot, just low traffic.―Etter

If you are stucked in Ecija, the place is good for hitchhiking (limited speed, gas station, straight road), but this is Spain. I was lucky =)―Anonymous

we arrived late at night so it was never going to work that well for us. There is a restaurant attached to the gas station so lots of people will be having meals before heading to Cordoba or Sevilla (it is on the right side for Cordoba so that might be easier)―Anonymous

Not a lot of traffic here in the autumn, but after we gave up and ate dinner the kickass lady maintaining the station asked around unprompted and got us a ride to Sevilla. Also quite a few people stopping at the restaurant.―Arnulle

TERRIBLE SPOT. I waited almost 5 hours to go south. Police came twice and I had to move but I managed to go south 30km somehow.―Anonymous
