Arrived here at around 18:00 and by then the traffic is slowed down to maybe 5-6 cars an hour. Try to get here early or on weekends

estacion de servicio; gas station; good spot to go in direction of Portugal. I was there on a sunday, not many cars but with a little bit of patience, i found a ride directly to Lisbon.

There is an old abandoned restaurant here, which allows cars to stop easily. And as it's directly on the way to Portugal for many cars from Huelva, it's a great place for them to pick you up.
I waited here for 10 minutes and got a ride to a rest station right on front of the border.

Avoid this way to Portugal, a lot of local traffic.
After 1,5 hours I put a sign "A49" and got picked up for close to border of Portugal.

Cars are very slow since they just got out of the parking garage or waited to pick someone up from the airport. The spot is covered by a roof, so there's shadow. There's enough space for cars to take you in as well. You can get there by bus from the city.

Only 4 Portugese cars passed in 1 hour time. I was told it was the best road to Portugal.
In the end I went with someone to Corrales (next village) he told me it's difficult to get out of Huelva

Got a ride into Portugal after not too long. Mabye the people who pass through here won’t be going super far into Portugal, but it will get you into the country.
