At first I tried to talk to people, which isn't very easy since the two restaurants and the gas station are all like 100m apart. I wasn't succesful with that, even though the people there where very very friendly. But I think most are lokal and don't go far from there. When the restaurants closed at 5.30 and 6 pm I went to the entry at the roundabout, stood there for like 20-30 Minutes and got a lift a bit further than Jerez.―Friedolin

Arrived in the Evening around 6.30 or 7 pm. Was very full, but I decided to sleep in a tent nearby. In the morning it was very empty, only every few minutes a car came. The only truck that stayed there over night at least brought me to the next service station, which was way more alive.―Friedolin

Works well also for the direction Jerez/Cadiz/Algeciras. If you're going to Algeciras, it's recommended to find a direct ride here rather than taking a shorter ride along the highway towards Algeciras.―Ewelinalucy

also keep in mind that this is one of the rare service stations with a bridge :). and the staff is really nice. they helped me convince a driver to take me to algeciras ^^―Sitko

Direction Jerez. Good spot for cars to stop. If it doesnt works you can try to ask people at near gas station.―Kubas

Bad spot. I saw it on map and wanted to try to hitchhike here or at shell gas station, but after roundabout is not place to stop and without car you can´t get to the gas station.―Kubas

Good gas station for going to Sevilla. You can easily walk here from city center because of very wide road and you can also try to hitchhike during your walk―Kubas

It looked like good spot but i spend here few hours hitchhiking without result. I waited on big roundabout with sign Sevilla. Maybe cars go mainly to another direction 🤷♂️―Kubas

I only had to wait 5 minutes here, to find a ride straight to Sevilla. It's not super pleasant to stand here, but very effective!Cars can easily pull over into the disused exit of the roundabout.

My friend waited 60 mins under the rain, so much wind that my sign flew away but by CHANCE I found a olastic sign for Algesiras on the ground. I―LestfulPilgrim

a bit sketchy, but best spot to go to Algeciras from this road. any further there is no room to stop, and couple roundabouts earlier nobody stops, I spent an hour standing, before deciding to come here. the other comment probably got the location wrong.―Anonymous
