University. In weekdays within the school year, you'll have people going through all day, to Galapagar, Madrid, Las Rozas, Torrelodones... Forgot my wallet after class and gave it a go, should be easy as long as you look "normal".―friki

the station in good, a decent amount of carsquite a lot of locals...i was going in direction of caceres and on thursday afternoon (from 3PM ) it took me 3h to find a loft to xanadu, a big shopping centre near by (the guy told me was better from there, and after 3h i just took it)
there, in my opinion, was worse, cus being on the other side of the A5, everyone was going towards madrid
i also tried at the roundabout but with no luck
so i went back here, slept on a tent behind the station (its pretty chill), and next morning, after 1h (10-11AM), i found a lift to the station at the 88km, with a restaurant that seems better
lets see

Take the train in Madrid to the farest station (Moratejo I think). Then we take several rides from one service station to the next one along the highway (A-5) until we found a couple of hippies in a van that are going to Portugal―Joaoguilhermeln

It's located around 18 km from the Alto de Extremadura gas station, so you just need a short ride. After a lot of asking around we found a driver who took us all the way to the border in Badajoz!―Ewelinalucy

/!\\ Difficult access /!\\From the metro station "Puerta del Sur", walk down the "Avenida de Leganés" (south-east) till the crossroad. (~750m)
from there, keep walking on the M406 till the start of the bridge above the R-5.
Cross the fence, and get down the very steep hill. It can be very slippery, so take care!
Once your down, you just need to walk till the gas station, 100m away at the west.
Though there's much traffic, most of the cars will be going toward west, on the A-5.

Not that many cars, but they have to go slow and a lot of space to stop. Probably best spot in town. Got a lift to Madrid.―Urbanček
