Followed other users advice. Spot is OK, although cars are moving fast and have to decide late whether to stop for you on the small gravel area before the freeway. After 30 mins we got offered a lift to padrón, 25km further south. It was a mistake to accept, there was only local traffic here. Recommend if using this spot, wait until you get offered a lift till Pontevedra or further, nothing closer.―Anonymous

Good spot going south of Santiago. After trying 2 other spots, themis seemed the best, even though the access to this is to walk the roundabout with no sidewalks. But there's plenty space for cars to stop or also to see you from distance.―jkczech

From my experience not the best spot in my life.I had sign "Portugal" and "Tui". Most of the cars are locals, I would say 90%.
2-3 cars stop and offered me a ride 10-15 km.
At the end I accept ride to Vilagarcia. It wasn't good idea
