Good place to stop, it was during the day, and I wrote « Valladolid » but I want to go in France. I get a lift after 15 min. I’m a girl.

Very good spot lots of space for car to stop and cars are not going too fast. I was playing my viola and my girlfriend had a thumb up for stopping and a school teacher took us to Zamora as he is commuting between Salamanca and Zamora almost every day. We also had a two big backpacks and a dog so a lot for hitchhiking……

Great spot for Salamanca, had a (bad) sign saying "Salamanca" and the third car passing me took me all the way there. :)

There is almost no traffic, maybe if you are alone, there were few trucks drivers.
We stood there realy long time, with a sign to Madrid, then without a sign and then we started to ask people on the gas station. First person was a Czech guy (we are also from Czechia), he told us that he is going to Madrid, but unfortunately he does not take hitchhikers. After that we asked another guy and he took us to Madrid and in Madrid he bought us train tickets to Salamanca, so we were realy lucky. But it is a terrible spot. Boy and girl, afternoon, weekday

Great spot for Portugal. Easy to reach with a bus and some walking. Plenty of room to pull over. Spanish people don't pick up hitchhikers too often so hope for some tourists or portuguese people.

Salamanca-Valladolid. this petrol station has a bit more traffic than the other one closer to the city. Show your plack to the cars if theres no body tanking to ask. Good luck, spain is hard for hh. I have done this twice in September 2008, one hour waiting in average.

Salamanca-Valladolid.
Its not a good spot, but I only did it once and it took me 20 minutes (Maybe I was very lucky). Its the acces to the motorway in the direction of Valladolid. I came here by foot.

Salamanca-Valladolid.
Its a petrol station where you can talk to the drivers, if theres no a lot of them tanking, you can in the meantime show your board to the traffic.

To Madrid. Enough of space for cars to stop. Take a local bus from center to near by shopping mal.

To Madrid. Fast traffic, not much space to stop and they don't see you from far enough.
