direction east/sollefteÃ¥. well it's basically at the sideways and there's not much traffic on this road. there's a bus that takes you nearby. did it once and took me only 10 minutes for a ride - so i guess it's allright.―Anonymous

Tried hitching west along the E14 from here at dusk in Oct 2013, people were only going short distances though. After two hours I accepted a lift a short way west just to get out of there! If you're thinking of hitching west on e14 it could be a good idea to do it on Sunday, lots of Norwegians come over the border for the weekend to put their purchasing power to good use and then go back on Sunday.―Anonymous

Summertime, early morning, weekday, female single traveller. Lost of space to stand, there is also a bus stop. Cars go fast, it goes uphill too. However I got a ride pretty fast, standing at the bus stop. Best if you use a HUGE sign.―Anonymous

I gave up and took the train to Sundsvall because it was getting dark, but I can recognise that the gas station here is fantastic on paper for going to Sundsvall. Give it a go and make your own report.―Bigdeidiot
