Good spot for direction Jonkoping. They drive quite fast here though. Take bus to 'Gamla Linkoping', and walk under the roundabout. You could also try the gasstation if you prefer that.

All traffic towards Stockholm passes here. Excellent bus stop just after roundabout. Cars accelerating quite fast, so high visibility is the key.

This should be a nice spot, but most cars are heading towards Stockholm, so it's hard to use it for Jönköping

Spot looks nice with a big right shoulder but cars accelerate to 90 km/h here. Make sure you have a big sign and people see you early.
I waited for 10 minutes till the police came and told me to go away. Seems they dont have anything better to do than ruining hitch-hiking trips.
I had to move to the other spot near the IKEA.
Still not <3 police ...

Tried to go south. Lots of cars but few that stops. High speeds and we didn't seem appreciated here, lots of honking. It was evening time, and a lot seemed to take the highway to other parts of Linköping or closeby towns. Two cars stopped in two hours, both of them heading to nearby towns.

Cars are fast and most of them that go to Jönköping/Helsingborg drive on the left side. The right shoulder isn't very long and wide.
Use Jönköping for your sign and make sure it's good to read.

This is a good spot, I was offered rides to Norrköping before I got one to STHLM. 10 minutes on a weekday noon.
