Same driver that dropped me off here took me to another place in Mjölby after about 5 minut appart :D. Quite low traffic, but nice and safe spot. You can try asking at a nearby gas station/McDonald. Probabily a good spot for HH out of Norrköping, but ( in my opinion) I recomend to avoid Norrköping if you only passing through.―BanautaVanuaLat

Were dropped here from Linköping, going south. Big mistake. Few cars, even fewer who would take us. Almost everyone was local, going to shop dinner at one of the hamburger places. Finally got a ride after maybe 3-4 hours of desperate searches.―Quispiam

This gas station could have been great (seemed quite busy) if it wasn't for the fact that the staff chased me away. Seemed like most traffic was heading south. I went to the on-ramp and found a lift fairly fast.―Anonymous

Cars are driving fast here, it's already highway vibes. However the side lane is very wide, so I felt safe and found a ride in 10 min to Norrköping.―Anonymous

For me it works better at on ramps. Got a ride in about 30min. It was already dark, low traffic, saturday evening. If you like you can ask at nearby rest area. This one is big. Manny option for drivers where to eat and too many directions to go, locals comming for fastfood dinner.―BanautaVanuaLat

Good spot to ask for a ride at the rest area around the McDonalds. Hitched a ride there at about 17:00 to Jönköping, took me maybe 5 minutes directly asking people.―katie

Not sure how the staff act in 2025 but since there was a lot of truckers didn't need to as I found a ride south within 30 minutes, a lot of trucks go all the way to Helsingborg here, you can also try the ramp but people seemed to speed there since most traffic came from Mantorp―estohiker

after over 3 hours a car stopped and offered to take us to Tranås. this was around noon. Once we left Sweden we never had to wait nearly this long anywhere, so all i can say is, Sweden really sucks for hitchhiking―adamascus
