South direction. Think I got fairly lucky but still a good spot and probably the best to get out of norrköping. Got a lift to Jonköping from someone heading to Göteborg. There are also trucks here.

We were really lucky, there were not a lot of people but we found somebody within 5 minutes. I don’t now if we would have found someone without him.

The spot was not so good, there were a lot of people but nobody really wanted to take us, in the end a truck driver took us after 2 hours of waiting.

Doesn't look like that but it's great

Very few cars, but got a ride eventually.

(didn't get a ride) I should have stayed here instead of walking forward, it's the best hitchiking spot towards Gränna in like 4 kilometers. Recommend trying to hitchike to Skärholmen and so on until Gränna if you are going to Stockholm. Not that many cars here, it's a small road.

No one going to Stockholm from here either. Went to Kaxholmen to take the small road to Gränna. If you are here, you shouldn't try to go far, Gränna at most. Gränna junction has a great hitchiking spot to get further! I was here quite late so maybe it's better earlier.

Most people drive in the city. One person went directly to Stockholm and took me all the way

Good spot, plenty of people with campervans. We asked around and found ride with guys heading directly to Jonkoping.

The only possibility is to try at the petrol station or get the car that moves towards the tiny on-ramp... it failed

Great location on this on-ramp... but no traffic going north

Physically perfect for cars to stop, but no one going E4 northbound. Maybe useful for getting to the shopping centre just across the roundabout, where you can eat for under SEK 20 in IKEA.

Have waited for a few hours here without success in 2006. However I think I was unlucky - it looks like a good spot for going south.

I once stayed there for over two hours, no one stopped except for some teenagers who just wanted to tease.

On another occasion, a man picked me up after some 20 minutes of waiting and drove me some 15km south where I could easily get a ride all the way to Copenhagen.

We wanted to go south. In theory it should work here, the spot is perfect (bus stop) and our sign (E4 S) was clear. In reality nobody stopped during 2,5hrs and we got lots of shitty immature reactions. We walked south to the spot after the junction Göteborg/Malmö in the end.

Waited in the morning to go to Goteborg from 5-8 am. Did not get a ride.
