We had difficulties about going out from BorÃ¥s. Our direction was Gothenborg. There is also a bus but we decide about don´t take it.―Anonymous

We tried lots of ways to get out from this city... was really not simple! We went outside the highway, in the near fuel stations and so on. Finally we didn´t taken the bus but we stayed more then 7hours before find a generous foreigner who accepted to bring us in the first fuel station of the highway. If a car wants to stop u in this city... please say "NO".―Anonymous

This roundabout is a good place to get rides west to Varberg Nord from where you can get transportation South to Malmö/Copenhagen.I got a rides after 1 hour at a Friday early morning.
The cars have to slow down and there are some space for them to stop.
To get here, take city bus#7 to Storängen and walk South along the road for about 1-2km.

At this resting-point theres a toilet and the forest are Close-by (Camping possible). You might ask around cause theres sometimes a few trucks around.
The traffic is altough to speedy for this spot to be a good hitching-spot, try 1000m South along the road at the roundabout.
To get here, take city-bus 7 towards Hedvigsborg and leave at Storängen, walk South.

I waited 40 minutes here. Not the worst ever spot, but not great. Could probably ask people going to McDonalds. Petrol station is well used but not SUPER busy. In general I think a lot of traffic here is not going far. I was heading toward Stockholm.―Anonymous
