The bus stop is very conviently located in the ramp. But there isn't a lot of traffic and it's mostly local. We thought we were lucky catching a ride quickly but it was a bad idea as he only went to the next town that has even less long distance traffic!

pull-off, rest area with a petrolstation and a small foodplace. was dropped here and found a new ride faster than 5minutes.

Physically perfect for cars to stop, but no one going E4 northbound. Maybe useful for getting to the shopping centre just across the roundabout, where you can eat for under SEK 20 in IKEA.

Have waited for a few hours here without success in 2006. However I think I was unlucky - it looks like a good spot for going south.

We wanted to go south. In theory it should work here, the spot is perfect (bus stop) and our sign (E4 S) was clear. In reality nobody stopped during 2,5hrs and we got lots of shitty immature reactions. We walked south to the spot after the junction Göteborg/Malmö in the end.

camping in the woods near the lake is very nice, but there was nearly no traffic at the petrol station, so i had to walk down to the highway.. but cars are mostly too fast to stop (and it's illegal to stand there), after a hour i got a ride to jönköping.

I once stayed there for over two hours, no one stopped except for some teenagers who just wanted to tease.

On another occasion, a man picked me up after some 20 minutes of waiting and drove me some 15km south where I could easily get a ride all the way to Copenhagen.
