Easily visible, wide exit of the roundajout. Cars can stop while other traffik can still pass by. Also very clear which direvtion you want to go to by standing next to the sign. Seems like a very promising spot. Guy lived countryside and used to hitchhike to school during his youth, took me to my final destination direction, stunning honestly.―KRooijackers

Insanely lucky, asked around at the gas station for a ride to Avesta, tested my luck at a busstop. First truck driver pulled over, drove me to the highway intersection with lots of traffik towards Västerås and Avesta. Although this (bus)stop isn't great for Avesta, I think it's quite promising with traffik going from Uppsala to other destinations.―KRooijackers

Asked around at the gasstation first, but realised the busstop was perfect considering the huge amount of traffik. Made a sign with '70' to make sure any traffik going right on the roundabout would just ignore me. Guy going to play golf near Sala thought hitchhikers were cool and offered me a ride. Was already quite tired, so loved to just have someone to talk to while slowly creeping towards my destination near Avesta.―KRooijackers
