I feel like since you're very much still in the city people most people don't stop but got a ride after 30min, it's not the ideal place but cars cant still stop if they want to.

Very active service station. Had no trouble finding a ride standing at the exit. In 10 minutes I was offered 2 rides to Zurich but I declined and the 3rd few minutes after took me past Bern. Probably possible to find rides to Lausanne and Geneva if you're lucky.

We hitched here from a small petrol station, as it was just before the turn off to the autobahn, you can catch all traffic going west or East, and we got picked up after 20 minutes heading to Zurich, very good spot for the area!

Very big gas station, people are not very willing to stop. We (2 people) stood here when trying to get to Zurich and we got a ride from the general manager of the Intermarche in the direction of Zurich.

One year ago we were trying to get north to Munich which was very hard and after 3 hours of waiting we only got a ride to a gas station close to Vaduz.

Immediately as we got out of a car, another one pulled over asking if we need a ride. :)) The shortest waiting time ever. :))

But generally it should be a good gas station to go north to Zurich and further. On the map is says you can even cross from one side to another, but I can't confirm that.

Amazing spot, picked up immidiately by some Liechtensteiners. Unfortunately this great spot was wasted on a crappy ride, We wanted to go to Zug/Lucerne and they were headed to Zürich so they only drove us like 5 minutes down the highway before dropping us off at a worse spot. They were kinda hippies and I think they just wanted to pick us up cause they thought it would be fun. Word of advice: if it’s not the ride it’s not the ride, and don’t trust Liechtensteiners they’re a bit strange

Stayed at a campground in North Feldkirch so this spot was easy to get to, there’s also buses in Feldkirch that get you there. This road is good to go south on the E43 since it goes right to the highway junction in Ruggell. We wanted to go west on the 3 towards Lucerne and Interlaken, got a ride past around Sargans to a rest stop around Bilten.
