i got lucky here but doesn’t seem like a bad spot at all especially if you wait before the light. i was trying to head west to olten and i had tolls off on maps for routing so it showed me this route, when in fact no one heads west from the airport from here. this kind man pulled over to tell me that but he happened to be going that direction, so he ended up taking me to baden train station and bought me a train ticket and a beer :))―teef

The spot is not really good. There is not much traffic and it’s pretty small. I got offered some rides to the south, but needed to go to the north. If you ask every car that is coming you will probably get a ride. I was lucky and after like 45 minutes a nice woman took me to the next rest area "würenlos“ which is much bigger! Try to go there if you need to go north/towards Basel.You can go from one side of the highway to the other using a pedestrian bridge, but you need to climb two relatively big fences.

not so many cars passing through in the morningh rush, but even with so low car flow 2 cars stopped but the first one didnt go to the center of zurich we would have needed to walk 20km so we passed and after few minutes another guy stopped and gave us a ride to hauptbahnhof―travelwithlaro

I had a sign saying "Basel". I wanted to go to the Pratteln service station to stay on the swiss A2 highway. Got picked up by a guy driving to Brugg. He said he was going through Basel, so I took the ride, but actually he went through Lörach. Be aware that there are two entries into Switzerland!
