dont try it here.... all of the traffic is passing by a nother street (bundesstraße) and if not, you can wait for quite a long time until someone stops. in this case this nice person just drives up to the next village.....so if you r stuck in here pray or take the train―Anonymous

perfeckt hitchhikerplace to going in the monutains. direction Wattwil, Lichtensteig, Rapperswil, Wildhaus. only this side the street are good place. normal are 2 minute―Anonymous

Very big gas station, people are not very willing to stop. We (2 people) stood here when trying to get to Zurich and we got a ride from the general manager of the Intermarche in the direction of Zurich.One year ago we were trying to get north to Munich which was very hard and after 3 hours of waiting we only got a ride to a gas station close to Vaduz.
