-Direction Akyaka-Very high frequented spot with restaurants and a gas station. Get some drinks and food while you wait.
I asked around and very quickly met some young men driving to marmaris to party and meet friends. They took me straight to akyaka, first and last ride of the day!
To get there I took the train from Izmir Alsancak to Sağlik and walked the rest. Had to pass beneath the highway and climb over a fence but it was fine.

It's very easy to get from Mugla to Akyaka or Marmaris. Just take a bus from Mugla to Mugla University and cross the street. There's a bus stop, you can just stand there and hitchicke. Normally it's around 5min of waiting―Anonymous
