There is some gas station and supermarket, this would be the only good spot to hitch in whatever direction it is more safe to do it before the roundabout―Anonymous

Dropped off here at noon. Tried roundabout to north M3 for 2 hours. Asked at both of the gas station for 2 hours each. Ended up sleeping in the woods on the east side of the M3. Got up in the morning and got a ride in 15 minutes. Seemed like commuter traffic. Better to head north in the morning.―Anonymous

A34 Towards Winchester / SouthamptonNot a lot of space to stop, but the road is not very busy so people have enough time to pick you up. We got lucky and got picked up after 3 minutes!
