found a lift in 4 minutes (who was going the wrong way) and then another in 2! Not a perfect place for cars to stop but plenty of visibility. Only great for going west towards M3 or further down the M27.. if you want to go east towards Portsmouth, it will be more tricky, as the cars will be three lanes away―Anonymous

Can hitch to any of the eastern forest from here, many cars come off the ferry so a longer lift may be possible.―Anonymous
