Took 5 minutes to get a lift in a lorry along the M50/A40, loads of space to stop and a very good spot.―Anonymous

Nice jumping-off point for the M50 into South Wales. I stood just at the exit of the filling station, so all of the cars could see me, were moving slow and had plenty of room to pull over before hitting the motorway sliproad. Waited 10 minutes at twilight, not bad.―Raven

A good spot for hitching up the M1 north or across the M42. Stood here 20 minutes, got a nice lift all the way to Nottingham. It took me a minute to figure out the right spot but I opted for the place where cars are coming out of the car park, pausing before turning right towards exit / filling station. You get a good flow of traffic and they are nice and slow, with space to pull in.―Anonymous
