Fleet Services (Direction London andNorth): This is your last spot before
the M25, it is the best spot to be

I agree coming off the M3 towards is a bad idea here, although there is a train station with no barriers and is hardly ever checked. good advice if stuck is heading to sunningdale and hopping the train at a late peak time. if towards reading there are no barriers at Early station, if towards london there are barriers at Clapham junction but at peak times these are almost always open.―Anonymous

You can stop here the cars going from London on M25. Generally a bad roundabout to hitchhike but there is nothing better around.―Anonymous

Great spot for those heading to Portsmouth, there's a small sideway spot just after the intersection. Spent there a minute.―Anonymous

I got lucky probably, but I think it's a reasonably good spot. It was quietish at the time (3pm or so) making it a bit easier for someone to stop too.―psychedelicfox

First we tried for 2.5 hours to get to southampton. Nobody heading that direction. Lots of people heading to brighton or bristol.―Rinkonini

Much less traffic than at Jabbeke. Found a couple of UK plates though. One was willing to take us through the eurotunnel to Surrey―Breno
