Better spot to stand - some people might be afraid to pull over on the on ramp, and it's slightly illegal, but you'll address everybody who goes onto the motorway.―Anonymous

Only got a ride 20 miles down the road, but to a much better spot on a roundabout directly on the A1. Most cars are passing through to Tranent and not using the motorway. Very light traffic, and if unlucky you could be stuck here hours.―Anonymous

Not a good spot anymore, since there's a new bypass on the A68. Waited a while before giving up, trying to get to Dalkeith and then luckily some guy dropped me at the first village on the road.―raspberrysoda
