After the roundabout direction cardiff. Cars start picking up speed but still many slow enough. In front of some houses small place to stop―Anonymous

Past the roundabout in the direction of Cardiff there's a great shady wide spot where cars can pull over. Before we even got there someone saw us walking and pulled over and waited for us. Took us to carmarthen, was going farther north.―Anonymous

Cars going slowly from Narberth to the A40. A nice place to stop in a driveway. However, very little traffic, and because of a curve they cant see you from a distance. We were going to cardiff so after some 15 minutes we walked past the roundabout on a40 looking for better spot.―Anonymous

Best spot out of this town I think. Two women picked up us two men saying, “I gotta help out fellow hitch hikers!”―HoopRider

Took a while, bad spot, but not many better in Carmarthen, didn’t have to walk on the main road very far so that’s a plus, took me 2 hours to the far reaches of Pembrokeshire―Anonymous

Great pickup conditions as the car can pull into a bus stop zone. A very friendly local woman picked me and a friend up.―hooprider

The best spot at this juncture is where the road turns and there is a large place to pull off to narrow road. The woman we rode with went out of her way to help us, saying she saw us before, and was happy to see us a second time when she was able. She drove us further because she thought our chances were not good to catch another ride through this beautiful, sparsely populated countryside.―HoopRider

People are going kind of fast, and there is not the best place to pull out. The man we caught was going to Fishguard, so we got out shortly to catch another ride on the road in direction Cardigan.―HoopRider
