The spot to leave Penzance to Land's End: There is a shoulder that seems just perfectly built for a car to stop and pick a hitcher; the cars are going slowly enough because of the roundabout and it your destination is usually quite obvious when you reached that spot―Anonymous

Direction South: Just at the entrance of the Shell Gas Station, you can stand there and catch the traffic coming from the station on the right. If the hitching is unsuccessful you can always catch the train or the bus from the very same spot―Anonymous

Direction Land's End: There won't be possibility to stop a car for a couple of miles if you start from along the A30―Anonymous

The road is narrow but you can catch a ride with the people just coming back from visiting Land's End (or even ask at the venue's parking even) many cars also takes the scenic road on the south―Anonymous

You can reach this roundabout form the St. Erth train or bus stations by a short walk. We got a lift to Plymouth in 20min time.―Anonymous

Although a long walk from Marazion and Mount St Michael, good place to hitch a ride east.―Anonymous

In front of the side road, good place for cars to see you and stop. 3 cars stopped, before I could get one going to Penzance.―Anonymous

Not a good spot on cloudy days, since there are not many cars passing by. I was trying to get to Land's End and after half an hour change opinion...―Anonymous

Not an amazing spot but just doable on the small road, got picked up in less than 10 minutes towards sennen cove and land's end.―jonasptacek
