Good place to stand with your sign, as the cars are only beginning to speed up after crossing the roundabout and there is an excellent place for cars to stop right after that.―Anonymous

A good place to hitch out of Bournemouth towards the north-east/east. You can get there by bus (don't know which one, though), and cars are going past quite slowly as they are just coming out of the roundabout. They are just about to enter a dual carriageway, though. Use a sign!―Anonymous

This is a terrible place to hitch from. Fast cars and no place to stop.I had to walk to upton cross to get a lift and still took a while due to the quiet road.
