Traffic is slow and frequent off the roundabout, space for cars to pull up briefly at the pub carpark. Easy enough to get lifts as far as brockworth at least.―Anonymous

Hitchers are very visible and its easy for cars to stop. If you're going to Cheltenham or Gloucester, its best not to take a lift to where the route splits- its a fast, dangerous junction. Its better to wait till you can get a lift to your destination. That said, if you're destination is Cheltenham and you're offered a lift to Painswick it's possibly worth taking it.―Anonymous
