Very good place to hitchhike to south. You will wait just few minutes.―Anonymous

Good spot as it's very close to the First Aberdeen bus station (you can use your Aberdeen City bus ticket) and cars have plenty of space to stop.Excellent for going to the west. I got a ride to Banchory, but cars go also much further (Braemar).
