Great spot for getting a ride.to Palmdale and beyond, however it usually takes more than one lift. Also, remember it's still the LA area, so it might take some time to stop a car. Be patient!―Anonymous

There are too many bums on this on ramp begging for money. Not a good spot to go north on Interstate 15. Instead, take D Street to Barstow and hitch from the giant gas station (green point in Barstow).―Anonymous

A better detour if you're stuck in Victorville. Do NOT look like a bum here, there are too many old beggars around already. This road will take you to a giant truck stop in Barstow.―Anonymous
