Easy to go east to Yucca, Joshua Tree and 29 Palms. No sign needed. Wait times vary from 3 minutes to 30 minutes.―Anonymous

Great spot for getting a ride.to Palmdale and beyond, however it usually takes more than one lift. Also, remember it's still the LA area, so it might take some time to stop a car. Be patient!―Anonymous

Great for getting "down the hill." You don't even need a sign; just stick out your thumb and wait ... however waiting time could be up to 1 hour. Don't look like a bum here. A sign that says "LA" might help.―Anonymous

There are too many bums on this on ramp begging for money. Not a good spot to go north on Interstate 15. Instead, take D Street to Barstow and hitch from the giant gas station (green point in Barstow).―Anonymous
