Waited less than an hour for a ride west! When I got in the car I told the guy that it would be nice to get into IN today, even though his destination was still in MI, and he said that he would take me across the border! We were headed for Gary, IN when he offered to buy me a bus ticket farther west!! Super great guy and super generous. Decent amount of traffic, should be able to catch a ride!!―Anonymous

I was going to try hitchhiking here but there were 2 problems. First, the traffic is ridiculous and it is super hard to cross the street without getting hit. Second, even if you are on the correct side of the road to hitch west they don't cut down any of the grass or plants so you would have to walk through tons of brush right on the side of the highway in order to get to the on-ramp. I wouldn't even try it here.―Anonymous
