Lots of good places to hitchhike along this highway. Best somewhere there are traffic lights so cars have to slow down. I think there's the 18 bus that takes you to south of Carson City near highway 395. It took less than 10 mins.―Anonymous

Apparently the cops don't even like you hitching from the ramps in Carson City *rolls eyes*.I was prodded along after only 15 minutes. The ramp was admittedly, a little tricky but there was tons of room for traffic to pull off.
