if you need to go to san Fran, there's a public library in sparks, with free internet connection, you canbuy a megabus ticket to san fran fro 14/17 dollars. It leaves everyday from the bus terminal in sparks at 10 am and at 3pm.―Ars Libera

Very big truck stop, but truckers just aren't allowed to take passengers. The place is damn busy, but I had to wait an hour to get a few miles down the road to another truck stop in the desert. Police drove by and didn't do anything, maybe because I didn't have a sign.―Anonymous

This exit is all Jersey barrier. There is a little bit of a "shoulder" but it doesn't offer any room to pull off. You may have luck at the nearby Petro truck stop, but if you're on foot don't bother coming out this far.―AngryOtter

Waited a whole evening and the next day until early afternoon. Was waiting outside the truck stop, but the staff told me I cannot even wait outside the gate (twice), and on that road just so much traffic but not much luck. So I guess the experience could vary depending on who’s working there that day.―Alex
