Came in on a Megabus from Chicago, Sunday morning, saw guy sitting there with sign. When I got there an hour later he was gone, so stood in same spot and got a ride west within an hour. Lots of traffic going both directions, east should be fine too.―Anonymous

After about 5 minutes a cop showed up to inform me that you can't hitchhike the on-ramps since they are technically part of the Interstate. I walked to the grass area by the road right before it peels off to the onramp and got a ride to Lincoln pretty quick. Not a bad experience but I generally found the cops to be a nuisance in Nebraska―Mossythemuse
