Terrible spot. Lots of traffic and lots of funny looks but no rides.Cops will hassle you. Walk down a few exits there'll be a Walmart exit and an airport exit.―Anonymous

Got a ride all the way to Cheyenne from here pretty easily. Hitching college towns after move-in weekends is a good idea.―Anonymous

After about 5 minutes a cop showed up to inform me that you can't hitchhike the on-ramps since they are technically part of the Interstate. I walked to the grass area by the road right before it peels off to the onramp and got a ride to Lincoln pretty quick. Not a bad experience but I generally found the cops to be a nuisance in Nebraska―Mossythemuse

Very long wait at this desolate onramp. Finally got a guy going towards Seward who offered to take me to the nearby truck rest area. This rest area was quite deserted and I ended up walking a few miles to get to a better spot.―Mossythemuse
