Very good spot for getting picked up. Had just hopped out some freak's car (see red dot near Cullman, Al) and had a sob story. Asked around for a lift, was offered money and got a lift from a friendly trucker to Birmingham―Anonymous

Not a good place to get picked up. Absolute freak on way to parole meeting picked me up, worst hitch of my life. Won't go into detail but very sexual and I feared for my life. Luckily he had a shitty old car and it was a really hot day (July) so he pulled up to the Cullman County rest area to cool the engine in the shade and I jumped the fuck out.―Anonymous
