Heading to Tampa from here ... I had a sign for about an hour without luck. About 5 minutes after I stopped using the sign, I got a lift to the I-75 onramp nearby.

Although illegal, hitching on this interstate wasn't so bad. There is plenty of space for cars to stop and it doesn't seem like there were any cops or patrol cars passing by. It took me about 15 minutes to land a ride going to Tampa.
