A long 2,5 hour wait for a ride just a few miles west. 90% of traffic just local. Got driven out of the city fortunately and got a next ride to Denali within 15 minutes.―K9f100

Waited a bit before this spot and got a ride to Anchorage in just over an hour. Really anywhere after the huge shoulder/bike lane starts is a good spot.―Anonymous

Hitching south to Denali, Anchorage.Good spot, traffic quite scarce, but out of the city, so mostly long distance. Drivers can see you and there's a lot of place to pull over.

Hitching north to Prudhoe Bay!The traffic from here on gets scarce, but there are some cars and people are friendly. Spot has everything it needs to have. Oh, and there's a weigh station nearby - it was empty at the time I was there, but maybe you get a chance to ask for a ride there.

Hitching towards Denali, Anchorage. Not the greatest spot, most of traffic is just local. There's some place to pull over, but the sport is after a turn, so drivers cannot see you from very far. They still can see you though.

Hitching south-east to North Pole, Delta Junction, Tok, Valdez, Canada.A lot of traffic, mostly locals, but some go out of Fairbanks. Good place to pull over, cars are slow after traffic lights and can see you.
