Was hitchhiking any direction - north or south. Mostly it's rush hour traffic that won't bother with a hitchhiker, so be prepared to wait a while. My wait was about 90 minutes.―Anonymous

Florence is largely a retirement town. Very difficult to catch a ride here. Took us three hours to get out. Some decent spots along the 101 in town though.―Anonymous
