Lots of truck but few drivers.
No interaction with the gas station employees.

Got a ride with a man, on his way home from work.
He accepted to take a detour through Michaux State Forest to get a nicer scenery than on the Interstate (recommended)

Turkey Hill Gas Station.
Not lots of people stopping by, mostly locals.

End up having a short to go further on I-81 to Middlesex to a truck stop.

Driver was a Pastor, tried to convince me to read the book of Jon and gave me his phone unmber a tthe end in any case

At the train station, I asked bluntly to the train clerk if he would let me hitchhike the local train. He was very nice and accepted right away, although he wasn't totally allowed to do it.
Always worth to ask !

to HH to Harrisburg or the southern states using the I81 Interstate 81 this is a great spot to approach cars since it is a rest area.
It is a quite frequented place so lots of people. I
was lucky and got a right after the first contact there.

A kind driver named Andrew pulled over when he saw my sign for I78-West Harrisburg. I was flying my sign at the intersection.

He wasn't able to get me all of the way there, but got me close enough to get another ride.

Pretty quiet spot considering the truck stop. Got a ride all the way to PA from an off-duty cop.

Ride from a Puerto Rican Uber driver. He said he never stops to help anybody but he'll help us. Got us past Harrisburg.

Caught a ride all the way to State College. Older guy insisted on taking us all the way, though he was only headed to Lewistown.
