Got a ride with a man, on his way home from work.
He accepted to take a detour through Michaux State Forest to get a nicer scenery than on the Interstate (recommended)

End up having a short to go further on I-81 to Middlesex to a truck stop.
Driver was a Pastor, tried to convince me to read the book of Jon and gave me his phone unmber a tthe end in any case

At the train station, I asked bluntly to the train clerk if he would let me hitchhike the local train. He was very nice and accepted right away, although he wasn't totally allowed to do it.Always worth to ask !
