Lots of traffic, but not very easy for cars to stop. I first tried waiting along the road, then I tried on the on-ramp and got a ride pretty quick. I flew a sign that said “HOOKSETT/BOSTON.” I think people often ignore people holding cardboard signs, because they assume you are just asking for money and don’t really read it, so if you do fly a sign, make the letters really big.―Anonymous

Tried this spot as it was recommended by the wiki. Extremely difficult to hitch to this spot, I ended up walking there from white river downtown (1 h ish) Spent two hours, got nothing, ended up spending the night rough camping. Tried for an hour the next morning, ended up just walking back to white river and getting a hitch pretty quickly from downtown. I learned a lesson- take the wikis word with a grain of salt.―Anonymous
