Very nice locals I met in a bar gave me a place to stay as they told me the police could be nasty on the island.Forbidden to spend the night there if you don't have a property.
Got in touch with my driver online the night before, thanks to one of my previous driver who end up fixing her car.
She joined me where I was to spend the night & we head to nola together the next morning

Very long wait, no shade and fast moving traffic. Eventually helped because a car broke down and someone came to help them. The guy ended up giving me a ride all the way to where I needed to go, which was super kind, but I think I was lucky―Anonymous
